Paul Elvis "Candyman" Campbell, 73 of Springfield, Ohio was born December 25, 1933 in Duvalls Bluff, Arkansas, the son of the late John Edward and Sarah Elizabeth Northern Campbell. Mr. Campbell was retired from the United States Air Force and had been a self employed mechanic.

Mr. Campbell died Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at his home at the age of 73. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, three brothers, two sisters.

Survivors include four daughters: Paula Daniels of Gypsum, Kansas, LaVetta Lewis of Salina, Kansas, Freda and husband Robert Lewis of Lincoln, Kansas and Lizbeth and husband Jerry Cleveland of Gypsum, Kansas; Sisters, Sara Tucker of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Mary and husband Ralph Smith of East End, Arkansas and Sue and husband Billy Poe of Sheridan, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends Shirley Jenkins and Erin.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Shady Grove Cemetery, Clarendon, Arkansas with Bro. Gale Umholtz and Bro. Michael Poe officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
