Glen Paul Luzader of Leola, Arkansas was born March 7, 1951 at Leola, the son of the late Dewey and Anna Pearl Hall Luzader.  Paul was a big man with a strong voice, but those that knew him, knew that he had a heart of gold.  He was a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.  He was also a proud Patriot, having served his nation in the United States Air Force, which included a tour in Turkey.  He was a past member of the Leola Masonic Lodge, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Paul was a truck driver for many years and he and his Peterbuilt logged an untold number of miles during that time.  Without question though, the greatest joy of his life was his family. He was fiercely protective and devoted to Carol, Lindsey, Jacob and the grandkids.   In years past, he was a fixture on the sidelines at his son Jacob's football games when he was in school. That continued on to present day making memories with his grandchildren.

Mr. Luzader died Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 73.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jacob Luzader; sister, Leona Crisco; brothers, George L. Luzader, Ed Luzader, Wayne Luzader; in-laws, Maggie Freer, Horace Riggan; brother-in-law, Dennis Bradley; nephew, Kent Luzader.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Carol Riggan Luzader; daughter and son-in-law, Lindsey and Terry Holmes; granddaughters, AnnaBeth Lewallen, Emma Lewallen; step-grandchildren, Cydney (Zach) Burnell, Cheyenne Holmes, Allison Holmes; sister, Iona (Don) Jones; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Bradley, Peggy Luzader; 3 nieces, 2 nephews. He is also survived by numerous other extended family members and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 6, 2024 at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Johnie Brewster and Bro. Doyle Caldwell officiating.  Visitation is Thursday, 6:00-8:00 P.M.  Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery, between Carthage and Leola.
