Paula Rae Crutchfield Poe of Prattsville, Arkansas was born February 25, 1916 in Prattsville the daughter of the late James Walter and Susan Elizabeth Williams Crutchfield. She was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville and an avid gardener.
Ms. Poe died Monday, September 22, 2008 at her home at the age of 92.
Paula Rae loved her church, her family, her friends and her garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Martin Poe; her beloved son, 1St LT. Joseph Byron Poe; brother, James Walter Crutchfield, and a sister, Marceline Giuliani.
Survivors: Sisters, Jamie York of Prattsville and Jewell and Tom Paxton of San Antonio,Texas;
Nieces, Judith Lynn and Jerry Hyndman of San Antonio, Texas; Linda and
Steve Lichina of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania; Lisbeth and Allen Kirsh of Austin, Texas; Emily and Chuck Richesin of Little Rock; Kay Crutchfield of Little Rock; Beth and Ron Winkle of Prattsville; Joyce Huffer of Hot Springs and Shirley and Oscar Bonham of Joshua, Texas.
Great nieces and nephews, Krystal, Michael and Lisa Hyndman; Steve Lichina, David and April Lichina; Morgan and Paxton Kirsh; Ross and Sommer Richesin.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church at Prattsville with Bro. Don Goodman, Bro. Neal Pumphrey and Bro. Doney Blackerby officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery. Visitation: 5-7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Harold Holiman, Daren Henderson, David Goodman, Randy Mooney, Max Hollinger and Robert Earl Mooney.
The family extends our appreciation to Janell, Marie, Aleslie, Dr. Highsmith and his staff for their devotion during the final months of her life. Their work became a labor of love that brought comfort to all of us. May other people in need of care be blessed with their kindness.
