Pauline Ferguson Darling Gilliam of Sheridan, Arkansas went to live with her Lord on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Hot Spring County Medical Center in Malvern at the age of 92. She was born November 24, 1917 in Bradley County, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Daniel Carl and Verda Trussell Ferguson.
She was a member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was employed by Anthony Lumber Company for 5 years and Arkansas Social Services in Dallas County (Fordyce) for 30 years . Pauline was generous with her love and time. She lit up a room and will be missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Dale Darling and Harry Edwin Gilliam.
Survivors include her son, Terry Dale and wife Janet Darling of Little Rock; Sisters, Mary Jo and husband Miles Norwood of Rogers and Peggy Ruth and husband Harold Raymer of New Edinburg.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at New Hope Cemetery (south of Sheridan), with Bro. Kenneth Click officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 337, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150.
