Pauline Hardin Pitts of Sheridan was born at Biscoe, Arkansas on October 24, 1944, the daughter
of the late George Andrew and Etta Bennett Harden. She died at Hot Springs County Medical Center in Malvern on January 16, 2010 at the age of 65 years. She was a mother, homemaker, and member of Orion Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Mae Pitts and Frances Hosager; a daughter, Connie Jean Dalton and a grand-son, Kurtis (K.C.) Howe.
Survivors are her husband, Earl Pitts;
3 sons, Danny and Renee Gillam of Wright, Kansas;
Tommy and Regina Harden of East End;
Johnny and Jeana Harden of Sheridan;
3 daughters, Elizabeth and Kurt Howe of Sheridan;
Roberta and Steve Norris of Sheridan;
Phyllis and Dan Prichard of Ypsilanti, Michigan;
2 brothers, George Harden, Jr. of Redfield;
Dave Harden of Redfield;
Sister, Dolly Winfred of Reydell;
Grave-side funeral will be Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Al Michael, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Sheridan. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery near Sheridan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made at the funeral home to apply to the funeral expense.
Pallbearers are Don Phillips, Gary Phillips, Will Billot, Nathan Fox, Scott Ware and Anthony Phillips.
