Philip Ray Jones of Little Rock, Arkansas was born September 1, 1964 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the son of the late Bobby Howard Jones and Patsy Ruth Zinn Jones Taylor. He was a graduate of Waskom High School in Waskom, Texas. He was a Christian and had a strong faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching TV and collecting comic books.

Philip passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Friday, October 9, 2020 in North Little Rock at the age of 56.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Martin Howard Jones.

Survivors: sisters, Susan Beth Jones (PJ Janssen) of Grand Junction, CO., Janis R. Jones (Missy Harris) of North Little Rock; step-mother, Merrie Jane Jones of Killeen, Texas; step-sister, Rhea(Cissy) Thomas of Killeen, Texas; long-time friend, Fabian Wells of North Little Rock and a host of cousins.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sheridan.

The family has requested that no flowers be sent but memorials be made in his name to the Arkansas Food Bank, 4301 W 65 ^th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209, or the Little Rock Compassion Center, P.O. Box 4249, Little Rock, AR 72214, which was a part-time home for him on numerous occasions.
