Phillip Leon Allen of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 7, 1948 in Little Rock, the son of the late Leon and Edna Earle Swafford Allen. He was a member of Orion Missionary Baptist Church and was a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing music and driving.

Phillip died Thursday, May 1, 2025 at UAMS in Little Rock at the age of 76.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Leonette Walls.

Survivors: wife, Judy McCullar Allen of Sheridan; sons, Jody Allen and John Allen; daughters, Wendy Pitts, Heather Lucas, Nora Harbin and Marissa Allen; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, one on the way and a host of extended family members and friends.

Funeral will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 until service time. Burial will follow at Bethel (North) Cemetery in the Ico Community.

Pallbearers are Jasper Phillips, Taylor Wages, Bailey Lucas, Dylan Lucas, Junior Lucas, and Michael Blansett. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Lackey, Danny Lackey, Justin Stockton, Eddie Lavelle, Mohammed Sayyah, Malik Sayyah, Beau Wages., Jett Wages and Bucker Sayyah.
