Phillip Wayne Crowder

Phillip Wayne Crowder of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 29, 1953 in Sheridan, the son of Helen Louise Mitchell Crowder and the late Houston Floyd Crowder. He attended church in his early years at First Assembly of God in Sheridan. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, duck hunting and playing golf.

Phillip died Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 72.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Candace Crowder.

Survivors: mother, Helen Louise Mitchell Crowder of Sheridan; common law wife of 35 years, Lori Purtle of Sheridan; son, Daniel Crowder of Norman, OK; daughter Billie Krummrei (James) of Norman, OK; brother, Byron Crowder (Becky) of Sheridan; grandchildren, Chloe Krummrei, Lryik Hayes, Jordan Crowder, Emma Homer; one great grandchildren, Ezekiel Crowder; nieces, Amy Sellars, Karen Davidson and a host of extended family members and friends.

A time of visitation will be Monday, August 10, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
