Phyllis Jane Henry of Leola, Arkansas was born January 4, 1951, in Arkansas, the daughter of the late Joe and Ala Mae Stiles Finley. Phyllis worked as a cook for Saline Memorial Hospital as well as the juvenile facility. She was a member of Leola Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, looking at her flowers and wind chimes as well as watching the birds in her yard, but above all she loved her family and her friends.

Phyllis passed away Thursday May 29, 2025, at her home at the age of 74.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Irvin Henry, and her three brothers Fred, Curtis, and Dalton Finley.

She is survived by her daughters Angela (Will) Sandlin, Tanya Harris, brothers Aubrey and Terry Finley, sister Janette Reddin, sister-in-law Margaret Finley, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and special friend Lorraine Kendall.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
