Obituary

Randolph Reddin of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 10, 1937 at Tinsman, Arkansas, the son of the late Doyle and Bertha Hand Reddin.  He was a faithful member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church and formerly served in the Arkansas Army National Guard at a SSGT, 2/206 Armor Division.  Randolph was truly a country gentleman.  He was a skilled coon hunter, gardener, hunter, fisherman, and anything else he had an interest in. He enjoyed his horses and was one of the last original members of the "Country Boy's Can Survive" club.   Without question, the greatest joy of his life was spending time with his daughter, Leisha.

Mr. Reddin died Christmas day, Sunday, December 25, 2022 at his home at the age of 85.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Alan Dale Reddin; twin brothers, Ray and Faye Reddin; brothers, Dale Reddin, Carlton Reddin; sisters, Reba Reddin, Lois Reddin, Dean Elliott.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, who he married June 15, 1959, Linda Moore Reddin of Sheridan; daughter and son-in-law (who he considered more of a son than son-in-law), Leisha and David Rawls of Sheridan; daughter by choice, Missy Atchley Murphy (Terry) of England; sisters, Carolyn Henry (Jerry Wilson) of Camden; sister-in-law, Anna Reddin (Lonnie Brown). He is also survived by his cats, Buster, Sadie, and Buttercup, his Little Creek Church family, and many friends.

Funeral services (casual dress requested) will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Brent Williams officiating.  Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery.  Visitation is Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 P.M.

Pallbearers: Tom Davenport, Buddy McElroy, Jackie Stone, Lonnie Brown, Kenny Smith, Ray Vance. Honorary Pallbearers: Bill Fiser, Dugan Roberts, Chris Volner, Brian Reddin, Hubert Moore, Willard McGarity, Ronnie Henry.
