Randy Burks, 61, of Sheridan, Arkansas, u nexpectedly passed away Friday, January 6 , 2023, as the result of a head-on collision.

Randy was born September 1 , 1961 to Roy and Nelda Burks in Salinas, California. He was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed worshiping the lord and conversations with his Sunday School class.  After 20 years of employment at Fiser's Grocery as a meat cutter, Randy became self-employed delivering pharmaceuticals throughout the state of Arkansas until his passing. Randy loved his Lord, his family and golf.  As a member of the Sheridan Country Club, you would often find him playing rounds of golf on Saturdays with his buddies.  Randy's personality was one of a kind, and if you had the pleasure of knowing him, you have your own "Randy" story to tell.  He had a unique sense of humor, a passion for history and an appreciation for great movies, television and books.

Randy met his beloved wife Sherri in 1998 and they married in 1999.  They enjoyed spending time with each other, Randy's children and their grandkids.

Survivors include his wife, Sherri Burks of Sheridan; father, Roy Burks of Sheridan; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Burks Harris and Harry of North Little Rock; son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Pam Burks of Sherwood; brother, Rick Burks of Orangevale, California; grandchildren, Owen, Casey, Zoey and Abby Burks of Jacksonville, Emma Harris of North Little Rock; nephews, Conner, Kendrick, and Clancey Burks of Orangevale, California.  He is also survived by his Church family, his golfing buddies, and many friends.

A visitation and memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 11 ^th at Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan, with Brother Brent Williams officiating.  Visitation will start at 5:00pm with service remarks starting at 6:00pm.  A private family burial will be held at Jones Cemetery in Amity, Arkansas.
