Randy Odell Shoptaw of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 10, 1952 at Little Rock, the son of the late Nathan and Odessa Moring Shoptaw. He attended Church of the Word. Prior to becoming disabled, he worked as an electrician.

Mr. Shoptaw died Saturday, November 21, 2009 at St. Vincent North Medical Center at the age of 57.

Survivors include his wife, Taffy Miller Shoptaw; 3 Sons, Austin and Julian Shoptaw and Chad Miller; Daughters, Paula and Staci; Sisters, Carol and Marilyn; and 7 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. James Wiggs and Bro. Danny Draper officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery, near Sheridan. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
