Raymond Percy Aldridge of Sheridan was born in Baskin, Louisiana on December 5, 1923, the son of the late Soloman Lee and Phalissie Williams Aldridge. He died at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 22, 2005 at the age of 81 years.
He was a member of Holly Spring Missionary Baptist Church at Star City, Arkansas; a member of the United Auto Workers Union; a veteran of the Army, having served during World War II; and had retired from Ford Motor Company in Michigan. He was preceded in death by first wife: Bunny Aldridge.

Funeral Services will be Monday, April 25, 2005 at 2:00 PM in Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel at Sheridan with Reverend J. C. Patterson officiating. Burial will be at Center Camground Cemetery in the Prague Community.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 6 PM at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home-Sheridan.
