Raymond Freddie Davis of Sheridan, Arkansas was born April 1, 1933 in Sheridan, Arkansas, the son of the late Freddie and Bessie Bryant Davis. He was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan where he sang in the choir and served as church Clerk.

Mr. Davis was a graduate of Sheridan High School, had worked at International Paper Company for many years, and had retired as CEO of Fairfield Credit Union in Pine Bluff.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, and working with his bee hives.

He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending precious time with them.

Mr. Davis passed away on, Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 86.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Conrad Davis; sisters, Connie Davis and Loretta Logan; 2 great granddaughters, Amelia Elizabeth Tipton and Annora Grace Tipton.

Survivors: wife, best friend, and caregiver for 68 years, Sue Allen Davis of Sheridan; daughters and sons-in-law, Libbie and Bruce Tipton of Sheridan, Pattie and Sherman Lites of Grapevine; sister, Elouise Davis Sanders of Tullahoma, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Vonda Davis of Sheridan; grandchildren, Ryan (Cindy) Tipton, Seth (Meaghan) Tipton, Kyle (Andrea) Tipton, Eric (Wendy) Lites and Chasidy (Nick) Lybrand; great grandchildren, Cole, Addison, Keeton, Tarik, Wyatt, Keller, Ezra, Kash, Ruby and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

Funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Shawn Hill and his grandson, Bro. Ryan Tipton officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will also be at the funeral home from 1:00 until service time.

Pallbearers are Seth Tipton, Eric Lites, Kyle Tipton, Nick Lybrand, Donnie Logan and Mike Logan.
