Obituary
Raymond Robert Wells, 87, of Little Rock, Arkansas was born on March 31, 1918 at Sheridan, Arkansas. He went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2005.
He was a member of Marlow Missionary Baptist Church and was retired from the Army, having served during World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Survivors are his wife, Dora Moring Wells; Two sons, Tom Wells of Little Rock and Wayne Moring (wife, Edith) of Conway; Two daughters, Wanda Connell (husband, Tommy) of Little Rock, and Sandy Murphy (husband, Billy) of North Carolina; and a Daughter-in-law, Sue Moring (husband, Reverend Willis Moring-deceased) of Maryland.
`13 grandchildren and 16 Great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Marlow Missionary Baptist Church near Sheridan with Bro. Standley and Bro. Lewallen officiating. Burial in Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 - 7 PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan.
