R.C. House of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 5, 1935 in Sheridan, Arkansas, the son of the late Robert Lee and Ezzie Bell Lewis House. He was a member of North Main Baptist Church in Sheridan. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
Mr. House died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Arbor Oaks Healthcare and Rehab Center in Malvern at the age of 78.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Pruitt House, daughter, Pam McGarrah, brothers, Ben House and Claude House, sisters Margaret Richmond and Theresa Mae Shook.
Survivors: son, Roger and wife Karen House; daughters, Debra McIlwain and husband Ralph, Sandra Kellems and husband James all of Sheridan; brother, Kenneth House of Richland, Idaho; sisters, Francis Simpson of Arizona, Eleanor Ann House and Alice Montgomery of California,11 grandchildren, Andrea Beauregard, Eric Davis, Phillip McGarrah, Daniel Kellems, Joni Hunter, Matthew Kellems, Alisha House, Russell Kellems, Brian McIlwain, Eston McIlwain and Toni Marie Van Tassel; 14 great grandchildren, Janiece Beauregard, Andrew Beauregard, Kasey Beauregard, Gabriel Davis, Elizabeth Davis, Jessie McGarrah, Kylie McGarrah, Eli McGarrah, Lauren McGarrah, Alivia Hunter, Peyton McIlwain, Devon McIlwain, Amelia McGarrah and Scarlett Van Tassel and host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 13, 2014 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 until service time.
Pallbearers are Kenny Johnson, Eric Davis, Daniel Kellems, Matthew Kellems, Russell Kellems, Phillip McGarrah and Stuart Hughes.
