Reba Faye Pumphrey Cooper of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 28, 1932 in Prattsville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Buel F. and Alice Ashcraft Pumphrey. She was a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville. She was a dedicated and devoted preacher's wife who was involved in the churches he pastored.
She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, canning and being outdoors.
Ms. Cooper died Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Amberwood Health and Rehab in Benton at the age of 86.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Havis Cooper, an infant brother, brother, Buel Maurice Pumphrey and a sister, Joyce Eleene Pumphrey.
Survivors: son, Michael Cooper of Bauxite; daughter, Cynthia Cooper of Benton; 5 grandchildren, Michaela (Mat) Robbins, Matthew (Brandy) Cooper, Jonathon Kordsmeier, Elizabeth Kordsmeier, and Sarah Kordsmeier; 1 great grandchild, Daisy Robbins and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 8, 2019 at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan with Bro. Brad Warren officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
