Reba Geneva Shelton Yates of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 19, 1937, at Crossett, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Tom and Blanche Shelton. He was a homemaker, had formerly attended Immanuel Baptist Church, enjoyed reading and was devoted to her family.

Mrs. Yates died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 74. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Yates, and sisters, Anita, Myrna, and Beatrice.

Survivors include her sons, Jimmy and wife Terri Yates, Ricky and wife Mary Yates, and Robby Yates, all of Sheridan; daughter, Sandra and husband Donny Dye of Malvern; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will also be Wednesday, from 1:00 P.M., until a few minutes before 2:00 P.M., to allow travel to the cemetery.
