Rebecca Anne "Becky" Chappell Thompson of Grapevine, Arkansas was born October 24, 1958 at Santa Barbara, California, the daughter of the late Donald and Billie McCauley Chappell.  She was a member of Pine Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Her family was her world and the joy of her life was being "Mom" to her daughter, "Nana" to her grandkids, and "Beak" to her nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Thompson died Thursday, February 24, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family, at the age of 63. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dale Thompson, 5 months to the day before her death.

Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Freeman of Grapevine; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Diane Chappell of Flint, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Royce Stanberry of Fruitvale, Texas; grandchildren, Addy Cheek and Bailey, Preslie Phillips, Canyan Freeman; great granddaughter, Aubree Caldwell. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
