Reverend Jesse Morgan Partridge of Leola, Arkansas was born June 4, 1940 in Amity, Arkansas the son of Jesse Milton and Mary Ruth Phinney Partridge. He was an Assembly of God Minister, a member of First Assembly of God Church in Sheridan and a member of Arkansas Assemblies of God. He had pastored several churches in Arkansas and was currently the minister of White Oak Assembly of God Church in Bearden.

Rev. Partridge taught Auto Mechanics from 1981 until 1990 at Sheridan High School and was known by his students as "Mr. P." He was also a member of Gum Bottom Hunting Club.

Rev. Partridge died Monday, June 22, 2009 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 69.

Daughter, Annette and husband Glen Wehunt of Caddo Cap;
Parents, Jesse and Ruth Partridge of Amity;
Brother and sister in law, Danny and Debbie Partridge of Marion;
Sister and brother in law, Mary and Carrol Jester of Amity;
Grandchildren; Alicia Partridge and fiancé Luke Hartley of Springfield, Missouri; Michaela Partridge of Leola; Savannah Vandermeid of Caddo Cap; Hunter Wehunt and one great grandchild, Marissa Vandermeid, his loving dog" Dusty" and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 11:00AM Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. A Celebration of Rev. Partridge's life will be held also on Thursday at 2:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church in Sheridan with Rev. Jimmy Bobo, Rev. Eddie Gwin, Rev. Lawrence Hammond and Arkansas Assembly of God District Superintendent Larry Moore officiating. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Steve Partridge, Tim Partridge, Danny Partridge, Glen Wehunt, Hunter Wehunt and Luke Hartley. Honor pallbearers will be all attending ministers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Arkansas Assemblies of God Youth Camp, P.O. Box 191670, Little Rock, Arkansas 72219-1670 in memory of Jesse Partridge.
