Richard Bryan "R.B." Howard, Sr. of East End, Arkansas was born August 6, 1944 the son of the late Oscar and Wanda Marie O'Neill Howard. He was a member of Lorance Drive Church of Christ, was a retired Engineer with Missouri Pacific Railroad (now Union Pacific), and was an avid hunter and fisherman and had served in the United States Army. His greatest joy in life was being a husband, a dad, and especially being "PaPa" to his grandchildren.

Mr. Howard died Monday, May 26, 2008 at St. Vincent North Medical Center at the age of 63.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Marie Hunter Howard of East End; Son, Richard Howard, Jr. and fiancé Natasha Donham of East End; Daughters, Karen, Kathy, Karla, Kristi, Kimberly, and Paula; Brother, Bob Howard and wife Macey of East End; 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Lorance Drive Church of Christ at East End with Bro. A.J. Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery at East End. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Lorance Drive Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to Lorance Drive Church of Christ, 5215 Lorance Drive, Hensley, Arkansas 72065.
