Obituary

Richard Lee Farmer of White Hall, Arkansas was born March 8, 1945 in Victoria, Texas, the son of the late Jack and Maeola Whiteside Farmer. He had retired from Southwestern Bell/At&T with over 35 years of service. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, enjoyed playing poker, hunting, and fishing. He was an avid collector of guns, knives, and coins.

Mr. Farmer died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical center in Pine Bluff at the age of 70.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step grandchild, Tyler Long-Bateman.

Survivors: loving wife, Beverly Clement Farmer of White Hall; son, Charles Wade Farmer of Dallas, Texas; step-son, Cody Dave Parnell of Jefferson; step-daughter, Terri Bateman of Grapevine; sister, Jackie Farmer of Portland, Oregon; brother in-law, Tim and wife Regina Clement of Sheridan; 2 grandchildren, Joshua Charles Farmer and Jacob Lee Farmer and 1 step-grandchild, Kersten Sue Scott and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Ain Cemetery in Grapevine. Visitation will be at the cemetery prior to the service from 1:00 until service time.

Pallbearers are Lee O'Neill, Danny Hudman, Jonathan Phillips, Jason Phillips, Charles Scott, Cody Parnell, Nate Thomas and Thomas Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers are Darryl Dees and Tim Clement.
