Ricky Don Winston of Sheridan, Arkansas lost his battle with cancer at the age of 58 on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born in Sheridan, Arkansas to the late Mahlon D. and Reba J. Wisely Winston.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by infant twin granddaughters, Summer and Harmony Winston.

Ricky accepted the Lord as his Savior at the age of 12, and joined Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

He was a 1976 graduate of Sheridan High School, and a 1978 graduate of Ouachita Vocational Technical School. He enjoyed playing football in school, rock and roll music, Nascar, hunting and fishing. He worked in the field of Industrial Electricity, being employed at Fiber Glass Systems, LP in Little Rock.

Survivors: sons, Brennon Winston and Colbey Winston; brothers, Jerry and wife Marie Winston, Jimmy and wife Cynthia Winston all of Sheridan; mother of his children, Cindy Hicks of Sardis and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 16, 2016 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Click officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 until service time.
