Rita Mae Bradford Wisely of Sheridan, Arkansas was born, September 24, 1933 at Grapevine, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Charlie and Lue Crossett Bradford. She was a member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan, where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Rita was retired from H&R Block as a tax consultant. She enjoyed sewing and fishing and she was very giving of her time to help others, especially the elderly. Her greatest joy was making memories with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Wisely died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock at the age of 77. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Macil Wisely who died in 2002.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandy York and husband Michael of Charlotte, North Carolina; Elaine Billingsley and husband Todd of Hensley; brothers, Charlie Bradford of Pine Bluff, Bobby Bradford of Grapevine, Huey Bradford of Pine Bluff, Glenn Bradford of Grapevine; sister, Betty Wilson of Rison; grandchildren, Ryan York and wife Melissa, Lindsay York, Payton Billingsley, Abby Billingsley; great grandson, Tristan.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 1, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Kenneth Click and Bro. John Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her nephews.
