Robert Thomas Gardner of Grapevine, Arkansas was born September 25, 1963 in St. Petersburg, Florida, the son of the late Robert Theodore and Barbara Ann Coan Gardner.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He had served in the Arkansas Army National Guard.

Robert died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 52.

Survivors: spouse, Vivian Gardner of Alexander; son, Blake; brother, Gerald Powell and wife Becky of Prattsville; sisters, Eileen Rivero of Pleasant Hill, Louisiana; Cheryl Burnett and husband Troy of Sheridan; Tina Lovell of Benton; Brenda Carter and husband Kevin of Belmont, Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Benton.

Visitation will be Friday night from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dewell Lovell, Patrick Massey, William Carter, Pete Crutchfield, Glenn Cox and Ray Edwards.
