Robert Wayne Hemmert of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 17, 1960 in Pine Bluff, the son of the late Frank Fredrick Hemmert and Peggy Joyce Walker. He was a retired auto mechanic and an avid fisherman and hunter.

Mr. Hemmert died at his home on Friday, December 8, 2023 at the age of 62.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank F. Hemmert, Jr.

Survivors:  wife and caregiver of 33 years, Carole Gilbert Hemmert of Sheridan; brother, Raymond David Hemmert of Ft. Smith; sisters, Brenda Myers of Byhalia, MS, Kelly Hemmert Corley of Thompson Station, TN and a host of extended family members and friends.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Brad Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville. Visitation: Monday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Billy Haynes, Steven Reppond, Christian Patton, Gary Phillips, Joey Phillips, and Marshal McPherson.
