Robert Lee Shepherd of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 11, 1947 in Sheridan, the son of the late Edward F. and Mable Flory Shepherd. He was a member of Moore's Chapel Methodist Church. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and motorcycle rider.

Robert served in the US Army as a medic stationed in Korea, was a member of the pistol club and was awarded 1st in his class. After returning home he was a saw filer and machinist.

Robert died on Friday, September 16, 2022 at the VA Hospital at the age of 75.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly Shepherd, and a sister, Joann Chaddick.

Survivors: wife of 53 years, Delora Jean Walters Shepherd of Sheridan; son, Jeffrey Don Shepherd of Sheridan; sister, Kathy (Joe) Gaddy of Pine Bluff; precious grandson, Colton Robbins of Malvern and a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 23, 2022 at Moore's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
