Robert Michael McKinney was born on December 24, 1962, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He passed away peacefully at his home on March 13, 2026, at the age of 63. Robert was a fun-loving person who deeply loved his family. He will be remembered for his warm personality, his love for his family, and the simple joys he embraced throughout his life.

He built a career as a Boiler Room Technician, dedicating more than 20 years to his work. Beyond his professional life, Robert enjoyed spending time fishing, playing horseshoes, and watching NASCAR and wrestling whenever he could. He was also an active member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan.

Robert is survived by his loving daughters Elizabeth Matlock, Crystal Lunsford, and Amanda Rice. His brothers Riley Mckinney Jr., Henry Derick, Joe Derick, Craig Derick, his sisters Karen McKinney, Robin Hutson, and Sabrina McDonald. His family also includes five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who were deeply cherished by him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Riley Marion McKinney, and his mother, Maggie Wilkerson McKinney.

A graveside service to honor Robert's life will be held on March 17, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bethel North Cemetery, located near the ICO community with Bro. Ben Andrews officiating. Pallbearers will be Aaron Neal, Jordan Neal, Parker Lunsford, Paxton Lunsford, Eric McKinney, and Alan McKinney.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist in funeral expenses.
