Robert "Bob" Hames Walters, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas was born in Sheridan, Arkansas on November 29, 1924,the son of the late Lace Right and Dora Edith Hames Walters. He died at his home on June 18, 2004 at the age of 79 years.

He was retired from the Arkansas Highway Department and the Grant County
Highway Department, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors are a Step-son and 2 step-daughters, 2 sisters: Edith Manche of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Dessie Western of Hooks, Texas; and Step-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service will be Monday, June 21, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Jackson Cemetery near Sheridan, with Reverend John Deacon officiating. Visitation will
be Sunday afternoon from 3 until 5 PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas. Arrangements by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home-Sheridan.
