Obituary

Robin Annette Walters Brislane was born on July 19, 1970.  A child born on the Sabbath day, she was bonny and blithe.  Always a lover of animals, Robin had a special love for horses and developed her artistic talents drawing them.  She won many blue ribbons and monetary awards each year at the county fair with her artwork.  After graduating from Sheridan High School, she pursued a degree in graphic design at Henderson State University and went on to work for Leisure Arts and UAMS.

Robin met the love of her life, Joseph Brislane, through a mutual interest in playing games on the internet.  She moved to Reno, Nevada, on July 4, 2004, to be near him, and they later married on July 15, 2006.  Robin loved the rugged beauty of the high desert and the Sierra Nevadas that surrounded her home.  She especially loved the scenic view of snow-covered Mount Rose on her drive to work.

Robin left us unexpectedly on another Sunday, March 18, 2018, and we will forever cherish the beautiful memories of the love that we shared with her.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Brislane of Sparks, Nevada; parents, Doug and Barbara Walters of Sheridan; sister, Angie Walters of Sheridan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  A memorial service to honor and celebrate her life is planned for April 29, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Memorial Gardens in Sheridan.
