Rommie Havis "Tad" Morris, Jr. of Redfield, Arkansas was born October 20, 1946 at Little Rock, the son of Viola Linn Morris and the late Rommie Havis Morris, Sr.. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War having served in Special Forces in the United States Army. Tad was also a retired truck driver and a member of the Arkansas Trailrider's Association and the Trailblazers which is the local branch that he belonged to. He also enjoyed hunting and squaredancing.

Mr. Morris died Friday, May 22, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 62.

Survivors include his wife, Trale Morris of Redfield; Mother, Viola Linn Morris of Little Rock; Sons, Todd Morris of San Francisco, California, Scott and wife Amanda Morris of Mabelvale and Rick and wife Misty Morris of Mabelvale; 3 step-daughters, Sherri and husband David Maddock of Marion, Nikki and husband Freddy Rouse of Beebe and P.J. Hulse of Marion, Arknasas; Grandchildren, Morgan Baker, Jordan Morris, Sean Morris; Step-granchildren, Layden Zachary, Drake Henderson, John Paul Henderson, Shyenne Hulse and Blakelee Hulse.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 24, 2009 from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Marlow Missionary Baptist Church in the Ico Community. Funeral services will follow the visitation and begin at 3:00 P.M. Sunday with Bro. Robert Standley officiating. Burial will follow in Orion Cemetery.
