Ronald "Ron" John Gana of Newport, Arkansas was born July 29, 1960 at Chicago, Illinois, the son of Ronald Charles and Mary Schofield Gana. He had served in the United States Marine Corp. and had been both a police and corrections officer.
Ron died Saturday, October 20, 2012, along with his wife Virginia, as the result of an automobile accident near Sheridan, Arkansas.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Gana.

Survivors include his parents, Ronald and Mary Gana of Chicago, Illinois; son, Shane Tadlock of Scott, Arkansas; daughter, Heather Bolin and husband Paul of Scott, Arkansas; brothers, James "Jim" Gana, Robert Gana and wife Debbie, John Gana; sister, Margaret Ollearis and husband Lenny, all of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Miranda, Robert, Destiny, Abby, Paul, Jr., Sarah and Molly and beloved uncle to Emilia, Katie, Ellen, Julie, Jack, and Josh.

A Graveside service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
