Ronald Cole Holiman of Prattsville, Arkansas was born December 27, 1939 in Prattsville, the son of the late Lester and Remagene Elrod Holiman. He was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville, where he served faithfully as a Deacon. He worked for many years as a rural mail carrier.  He enjoyed hunting and was a member of PST Hunting Club in Prattsville. Ronald was the true definition of a family man.  Everything he and his wife did revolved around spending time and making memories with their kids, grandkids and great grandkids.  He leaves a legacy of loving his Lord and his family, of handshake deals and always honoring your word. He taught them that through it all, faith and family are really what matter most.

Mr. Holiman died Monday, April 25, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 82.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Phillip Holiman.

Survivors: wife Theresa Hollinger Holiman of Prattsville; son, Jason (Angie) Holiman of Prattsville; daughters, Rhonda (Doney) Blackerby of Rison, Valerie (Ron) Hurst of Prattsville; brother, Harold (Anita) Holiman of Prattsville; sisters Dana Kay (Dave) Williams of Hot Springs, Tammy (Larry) Crutchfield of Prattsville; grandchildren, Katie(Josh) Stone, Kerri (Logan) Rambin, Dennis( Brittney) Blackerby,  Cory(Jill) Hurst, Camron(Shanna)Hurst, Anna, Callie, and John Holiman, Natalie Buie, and Donnie Harp; great grandchildren, Marshall, Cora, and Millie Kate Rambin, Caleb, Theresa Kay, Jude and Abel Stone, Nellie and Nash Blackerby, Emily and Allison Hurst, Camden, Wriley, and Cole Hurst. He is also survived by a host of extended family members and church family.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M.,  Friday, April 29, 2022 at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville with Bro. Neal Hollinger, and Bro. Don Goodman officiating. Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Burial will be at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville with Bro. Doney Blackerby, Bro. Dennis Blackerby and Bro. Josh Stone conducting the committal services.
