Obituary

Ronnie Joe Marsh of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was surrounded by his loving family when he passed away peacefully on Friday, December 5th, 2025 after a long, courageous battle against cancer.

Ronnie was born on February 12th, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Charlie Albert and Woodie Dean Campbell Marsh.

Ronnie graduated from Sheridan High School and went on to proudly serve in the United States Marine Corps from 1970 to 1974. Ronnie continued service to his Country as a Postal Worker, retiring after 26 years of dedicated service.

Ronnie attended Lemonwood Missionary Baptist Church in White Hall. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, grilling, trips to the casino and spending time spoiling his cats.

Above all else, Ronnie was a devoted family man. He loved his family fiercely and enjoyed spending every minute he could with them. Ronnie was a great friend to many - he never met a stranger! He was always available and willing to help his family, friends, neighbors - he would even loan his truck out to his nephew for prom night.

In the 74 years of life that Ronnie lived, he left a remarkable impact and a lasting legacy on his family and those he loved.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings; infant brother, Charles Melton Marsh (Buddy), infant sister Debra Marsh, brothers; Hollis James Marsh, Robert Guy Marsh and a very close friend, Tammy Bogy.

Ronnie will be deeply missed by those he left behind.  He is survived by Patsy Wilson Marsh of Sheridan; close friend and the mother of his daughters.
