Obituary

Rosalie Gene Alexander of Sheridan, Ar was born November 4th 1926 in Carson City, Nevada.
Rosalie went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday November 16 , 2021 at the age of 95.
Before Rosalie meet and married the love of her life and moving to Arkansas in 1952 she worked at
Baldwin/Railroad in Carson City, Nevada as a Bookkeeper.
Rosalie and Al became members of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and were Baptized together on Feb 8 , 1954
Rosalie was a member of the Grace Sunday School Class,  she also loved singing and was a member of the Church Choir.
Rosalie was a Sales Representative for Avon for over 25 years earning several top sales awards.  She was very proud of this
accomplishment but the one thing she was most proud of was her family.
Rosalie and Al were married for 51 years.  There was not a morning went by that she did not carry his cup of coffee to him in bed.
She was a avid Cook, Seamstress, Knitter and Crocheter.  She made sure the family gathered daily for at least one family meal.
She sewed the girls cloths up till their older years and even crochet the girls and their Barbie doll dresses to match.
Rosalie was always a Room Mom and always helped with all the School Parties and activities.
Rosalie and Al were those Cheerleading parents.  They attended all their children's sporting events.
If you didn't see them you were sure to hear them.
Rosalie also had a love for the outdoors.  She loved when she, Al and all their Camping Buddies would go over
to Lake Degray for months at a time.  She loved the fellowship and getting up a good game of Skipbo.
Most of all she loved telling how she would outfish Al with her Milly Rig.
As the Best Mom became the Best Nana to 7 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren she loved watching them play sports as
much as she did her children.  Tammy and Eddie always made sure she was there, front row as long as she was able.
Rosalie had one true and special friend for many years.  Ms. Lorena Stuckey.  These two ladies would visit several times a week, go on weekly
shopping trips.  They were truly what you call Best Friends.  We were so thankful for Ms. Lorena.
Rosalie was the daughter of the late Harvey and Rosalie Gene Payne (Lamb).
