Roy Edward Brown, Sr. ,76, of Little Rock, Arkansas entered the Heavenly Gates on December 1, 2024 in Little Rock. He was born July 26,1948 in Little Rock, the son of the late Cecil and Polly Abels Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Rhonda Shelley; son, Leroy Brown; brother, James Brown; sisters, Shirley Wilson, Cecilia Brown; grandsons, Curtis Shelley, Carson Fleming; and a granddaughter, Christina Diamond.

Roy was a retired Deacon at Forest Tower Baptist Church in Hensley. He was lead vocals in Happy Rhythms Band and Saved by Grace Band. He retired from the maintenance department at 3M after 31 years of service.

Survivors: loving wife of 44 years, Shirley Perkins Brown; daughters Lorie Martin (Dennis), Tonya Maxwell (Tim), Liz Lybrand; sons, Ricky Shaw, Allen Fleming (Paula), Robert Fleming (Cindy), Derric Fleming (Tina); honorary daughters, Angel Overstreet and La Donna Henry, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be Monday, December 9, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2:00 until service time.
