Ruby Yvonne Roark Williamson of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 12, 1935 at Crocketts Bluff, Arkansas, the daughter of the late J.B. and Ruby Davis Roark. She retired as an administrative assistant, and enjoyed reading, solving crossword puzzles and frequented the library. For many years, she was a very faithful and active member of First United Methodist Church in Sheridan. Her greatest joy was spending time and making memories with her family.

Mrs. Williamson died Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Sheridan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, at the age of 90. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James “Jim” Williamson; an infant brother, Benny Charles Roark; and numerous other extended family members.

Survivors include her sons, Bob and Conelia Williamson of Sheridan, Steve Williamson, Norfolk, Virginia; brother, Rick Roark (Donna) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; nephews, Rod Roark, Roman Roark; grandchildren, Brandon Williamson (Tiffanie), Brittney Hogue (Hunter), Casey Sinclair (Mack),Crystal Williamson-Nordstrom (Shahid), Aislinn Willamson-Yaro (Joseph), Duncan Williamson; great grandchildren, Jaxson Williamson, Whitney Perry, Alexis Hogue, Hudson Hogue, Fisher Hogue, James Sinclair, Emma Sinclair, Brittney Sinclair, Joseph Sinclair.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 P.M.
