Ruth Ann Hughes of Sheridan, Arkansas was born on August 12, 1939 to Viva and Elby Hughes. She died on March 20th, 2020 at the age of 80 after a long battle with Alzheimer's but is now rejoicing in Heaven.

She is survived by her daughter, Missy Overton of Sheridan; son, Andrew (Geanise) Pool of Vilonia; sister, Janie (Gary) Bailey of St. Peters, MO; granddaughters Allie (Landon) Mills of Sheridan, Kallie (Greg) Burleson of Sheridan, Haley (Dakota) House, Allison (Jacob) Trammell, Brittin Holman and Caragan Holman all of Vilonia and great grandkids, Kenny, Julian (Vaughn), Sloane (Slate), Levi, Lettie, Brooks and Maci along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Ruth or as her grandkids called her "G Mom" was a lover of all things Elvis. She spent most of her time watching westerns and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

There will be a very limited visitation 9-11 A.M. at the funeral home with a private graveside service both on Monday, March 23rd. Visitation is at Memorial Gardens in Sheridan and burial at New Hope Cemetery in Sheridan.
