Ruth Cable Reppond of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 20, 1930 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Charles Milton and Jessie Ada Corfield Cable. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church near Sheridan and had been active in community theater in Sheridan, Pine Bluff, Malvern and Little Rock.

Mrs. Reppond died Saturday, September 30, 2006 at her home in Sheridan at the age of 76. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, George Reppond; son, Johnnie Reppond; Daughter, Patricia Harp; sister, Janet Willis; and a grandson, Roy Ray Reppond.

Charles Reppond of Tampa, Florida and
Steve and wife Dee Reppond of Sheridan;
Son-in-law: James Harp of Sheridan;

Brothers: Mike Cable of Brazil and
Ruston Cable of Steilacoom, Washington;

Sisters: Florence Milstead of Silsby, Texas and
Jean Ashton of Tyler, Texas;

9 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in the Center Grove Community near Sheridan with Bro. Jim Ivey officiating. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery at Prattsville. Visitation: Tuesday, 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
