Ruthelle Jones Gage of Mabelvale, Arkansas was born January 02, 1926 in Carthage, Arkansas the daughter of the late Jewel Joseph and Clara Mae Elliott Jones. She was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church at Sheridan and a homemaker.

Mrs. Gage died Thursday, April 2, 2009 at her home at the age of 83.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mike Vanlandingham. and a granddaughter, Hannah Johnston.

Survivors, Husband, James L. Gage of Mabelvale;
Sons, Eddie Vanlandingham and wife Martha of Sheridan;
Terry Vanlandingham and wife Annette of Mabelvale;
Daughters, Becky Mae Johnston and husband Richard of Little Rock;
Donna Lee of Arkadelphia;
Brother, David Jewel Jones and wife Betty of Bryant; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren that she loved very much.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan with Bro. Matt Johnston officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Pete Hannah, Jesse Williams, Todd Jordan, David Jordan, Jonathan Jordan, Doug McKim, Joe Vanlandingham and Rick Johnston.
