Sally Ashley, age 78, of Grapevine, Arkansas, was born January 15, 1946, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Carl and Willie Mae Cook.  She peacefully departed this life on March 16, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.  Sally was preceded in death by both her parents, Carl and Willie Mae Cook; her beloved husband, Willie Charles Ashley; sons, Billy Ray Ashley, and Charles Lee Ashley; sisters, Ulean Gilbert, Jean Jackson; brother, Carl Cook, Jr.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Ann Thomas; brother, Edward Cook; grandchildren, Christy Ashley, Charlie Ashley and Janna Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and many other cherished family members and friends.

She had a passion for cooking and delighted in preparing delicious meals for loved ones, bringing joy and comfort to many gatherings over the years.  Sally's legacy of love, compassion, and resilience will continue to inspire all those who were blessed to know her.  She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A celebration of Sally's life will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with burial following at Upchurch Cemetery (Saline County).  Visitation is Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 P.M.
