Sally Clark Griffin of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 28, 1929 in Sheridan, the daughter of the late Richard M. and Gertrude Ford Clark. She was a co-founder and active member of Sheridan Pentecostal Church of God and had retired for Kohler.
Ms. Griffin died at her home on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the age 88.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lester Griffin and brothers, Joe Clark, Kenneth Clark and John Clark.
Survivors: son, Robert L. and wife Doris Griffin; daughter, Candris and husband Johnny Wright all of Sheridan; brother, Richard Clark of Fortson, Georgia; sisters, Hazel Gray of Benton, Marie Steele of Harrison, Ola Vandiver of Arkadelphia; grandchildren, Jared Griffin, Robin Hughes, Mark Broom, Jamie Broom and Lisa Wright; great grandchildren, Tyler Gill, Tanner Gill, Ashleigh Griffin, Aaliyah Nutter, Hayden Broom, Alyssa Broom, Gianna Broom, Sophie Wright, Kyle Wright, and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 30, 2018 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jacky Jones and Bro. Kenny Swiger officiating. Burial will follow at Center Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Donald Gene Clark, Pug Stratton, Dale Clark, Mark Broom, Jamie Broom, and Gene Brown. Honorary pallbearer is James Ervin Clark.
