Obituary

Sam Mack Cotton of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 25, 1919 at Grapevine, the son of the late Calvin Conway Cotton and Anna Letha Taylor Cotton. He was a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan, was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army, and was retired from Sterling Faucet. He enjoyed playing chess and bird watching.

Mr. Cotton died Thursday, February 24, 2011, at his daughter's home in Sheridan, at the age of 91.

Survivors include his son, Calvin Cotton and wife Denise Ryan of Eureka Springs; daughters, Norma Webb and husband Jim of Sheridan, and Vallerie Roberson and husband Alan of El Dorado; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan with Bro. Danny Hill officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made of Hospice Angels, 3801 Camden Road, Suite 12, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71603.
