Sara Kay Wright of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 20, 1949 at Jonesboro, the daughter of the late Harold Schisler and Marian Thorpe Smith. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Sheridan. Prior to being disabled with Myasthenia Gravis, she worked for many years at the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas in Pine Bluff. Her true joy in life was her grandchildren and she spent as much time with them as she possibly could.
Mrs. Wright died surrounded by her family, Saturday, August 04, 2012 at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center at Little Rock at the age of 63. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David H. Wright and her brother and sister-in-law Hal T. and Susan D. Smith.
She is survived by her sister Pat & Joe Ed Smith of Little Rock, her sons Scott & Aileen Williams of Bella Vista and Todd & Amanda Williams of Sheridan and her step-daughters Kim Wright and life partner Ginger L. Kierum of Sheridan and Kathy and Dennis Fugitt of Sheridan.
She is also survived by the joys of her life, her grandchildren: Sydni Crisalli, Hunter Sledge, Spencer Williams, Wesleigh Dardenne, Mikayla Williams and Elora Williams.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Fleming officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens. Cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America, 355 Lexington Avenue, 15th Floor, New York, NY 10017.
