Sarah Sue Dunlap Crews of Sheridan was born December 14, 1954 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Harmon Holiday and Eula Florene Berg Dunlap.

She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan, and she served at FBC Holdenville OK, Des Arc & Sheridan for the youth & college classes & IBC Sheridan. She was a retired insurance underwriter and served as President of Holdenville School Board, Ambulance Board and the Mother’s club. Her hobby over many, many years was baking wedding cakes and catering receptions.

Sarah died at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Little Rock on February 5, 2026 at the age of 71.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Crews who died May 4, 2011, her brothers, Bruce Dunlap and Charles Dunlap.

Survivors: daughters, Elizabeth (Chris) Hale, Susan (Richard) Hawkins all of Sheridan; sister, Linda Hulen of Virginia; grandchildren, Rebekah (Israel) Washington, Juliann Hale, Ella Rose Hawkins and a host of extended family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, February 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Gary Copeland, Bro. Michael Walton and her nephew, Darin Owens officiating with visitation before the service beginning at 10:00 AM.
