Scott Allen Watson of Grapevine, Arkansas was born September 3, 1963 in Rison, Arkansas the son of Ella Faye West Watson James and the late Tommy Delton Watson. He was a logger with BMH Logging, was a member of Rudolph Hunting Club, enjoyed woodworking, and loved spending time with his grandkids.
Mr. Watson died, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, at the age of 50. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Watson, and a grandson, Joel Brown.
Survivors include his mother, Ella Faye West James Watson, and husband Dean; Fiance', Cheryl Phillips and her grandson, Joshua Goddard; son, Harlon Watson and wife Gail; daughters, Nikki Watson and Jennifer Watson; brothers, Curtis and wife Deb Watson and Thomas and wife Theresa Watson, all of Grapevine; grandchildren, Gracie Watson, Kris Howell, Layla Kimberlin; great grandsons, Noah and Joel Howell; nephew, Chris Watson; nieces, Bethany, Jessica, Felicia, and Bailey Watson; step-brothers, Deano James and Patrick James and step-sisters, Teri Newman and Dena Alexander. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Black Cemetery, south of Grapevine, in Cleveland County Visitation is Friday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Wade Watson, Curtis Watson, Chris Jacks, Randy Nollen, Keith Taylor and Lyman Gray. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Holloway and Rommie Morris.
