Scotty Eugene Emberton of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 13, 1976 in Little Rock, the son of Shirley Halpain Ponder and the late Tommy Eugene Emberton. He enjoyed guitars, music and computers.

Scotty died on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at his home at the age of 48.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pat and Glen Emberton, Newton Halpain, and Annie Ruth Halpain; cousins, Lisa Cotton, Richie Cotton, Noble Emberton and Todd Halpain.

Survivors: mother and step-father, Shirley Ponder (Tom) of Sheridan; sons, Scotty E. Emberton, Jr. (Deboleena) of Little Rock, Chandler Emberton of Little Rock; daughter, Rani Emberton (Max Vernon) of Bryant; step-brother, David Ponder (Renee) of Hot Springs, half- brother, Nicholas Ponder of Wicks; step-sister, Marquetta Peyton (Jeffrey) of White Hall; grandson, Neal Rocket Emberton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A time of visitation will be Monday, July 8, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
