Sharon DeLois Evans Herndon of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 1, 1946 at Little Rock, the daughter of the late O.L. and Helen Smith Evans. She was a homemaker and served alongside her husband at Woodson Pentecostal Church. Her husband George pastors the Church, and she served as Church Secretary, and enjoyed preparing food for families in need, and Church functions.

Mrs. Herndon died Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Baptist Springhill Medical Center at the age of 73.

Survivors include her husband, Bro. George Herndon of Sheridan; daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Chris Charboneau of Kingwood, Texas; sons, Frankie Brussel of Aubrey, Texas , Aaron Brussel of Kansas City, Missouri; brothers, Otha Lee Evans and wife Denise of Sherwood, Thomas Evans and wife Susan of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Brussel, Zachary Brussel, Madeline Charboneau, Meredith Charboneau, Graham Charboneau. She is also survived by numerous other family members, friends, and her Church family.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan, with Bro. Billy Miller and Bro. Greg Maddox officiating. Burial will be in Marvin Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, 6:00-8:00 P.M.
