Shirley Tarkington Lenard of Sheridan, Arkansas was born   in Donaldson, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Doyle and Mozell Tarkington. She was a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She also loved to watch TV and boss.

Ms. Lenard died Friday, January 22, 2021 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 81.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.M. Lenard,II and her sister, Delores Green.

Survivors: daughters, Thelma Watson of Sheridan, Jamie Lenard of Sheridan, Melanie Arnold of Washington; sons, C.M. Lenard III of Pine Bluff, Dennis Lenard (RaeAnn) of Sheridan; 8 grandchildren, Ashlyn Lenard, Kilee Lenard, Sara Crutchfield, Charlie Lenard; Hudson Lenard, Allyson Lenard, Maddie Northern and Brantley Ferrier; great grandchildren, Brandan Crutchfield, Angela Crutchfield, Chance Crutchfield, CJ Lenard, and Autumn Lenard; niece, Arlene Green; nephew, Jim Green and a host of friends.

There will be no service at this time.
