Shirley Ann McGhee Vance of Sheridan, AR, born November 22nd,1939 to the late Arvie & Opal Howell McGhee.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and quilting. She was a member of True Hope Church in Sheridan, AR.

She passed away Friday, March 21st, 2025, at the Sheridan Nursing & Rehab. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Stepmother Celia McGhee, her daughters Sue Harness, Rita Jo Mayhugh, brother A L McGhee, grandson Thomas Wilson, great granddaughter Brandy Harness.

Survivors include her husband of almost 71 years James Edward "Ed" Vance; sons Eddie (Sherry) Vance, Robert (Kim) Vance, Jeff (Rhonda) Vance; daughter, Channell (Lenny) Barnes; son-in-law Larry Harness; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren.

She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends she considered family.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 29th at 1 pm. Memorial Service will follow at 2 pm at TrueHope Church (707 N. Main Street Sheridan). Michael Walton and Bro. Jeff Estes will be officiating.
